The Jewish Educational Project for Primary School Children
What We Do:
School Visits by Educators:
Naama is a Jewish educational program crafted to align with the national curriculum and cater to the unique needs of children. Suited for children in primary schools who learn about Judaism in their religious studies, those exploring ancient history like Egypt, or simply for groups of children learning about tolerance and different cultures.
Cultural Connection:
Bringing traditional Jewish artefacts, texts, scrolls, and more directly to schools, our program provides interactive and enjoyable lessons. This hands-on approach allows children to explore our culture and traditions in an engaging way. They will have the opportunity to learn about history beyond Jewish tradition, discover how people used to make scrolls and books, understand the importance of secret texts in our culture, explore how people celebrate festivals in different cultures and much more.
Interfaith Understanding:
Our commitment is to offer children opportunities to learn new things and delve into our culture, creating a nurturing space for them to shape their own identities. At the heart of our mission is the promotion of tolerance, diversity, and understanding.
